About Mindfulness on Maui

Aloha! My name is Cate Bellafiore, and I have created Mindfulness on Maui to support students in the practice of mindful movement and meditation. I make my home on the beautiful island of Maui, Hawaii, and offer mini-retreats, weekly themed sessions, drop-in classes, and sound baths.

It is my hope to be a creative part of a strong community of mindful people here on Maui.
My Vision
I have found that getting into the body, and separating from the attachments to thoughts and emotions, brings freedom, lightness, peace and happiness. I rely on storytelling, humor, and experiential learning to bring people, myself included, to a similar
peace of mind.
My Story
My path has lead me to study and practice a variety of traditions, including Buddhism, Unitarian Universalism, Arica and Taoism. My teaching is informed by a lifetime of meditation, tai chi, qigong, yoga, reiki, farming, canoe paddling, music, formal spiritual study, and sound healing.
Our Community
At Mindfulness on Maui, we believe that community is an essential part of the mindfulness and meditation journey. We offer a supportive and welcoming environment where our students can connect with like-minded individuals and share their experiences and insights.
